Earlier this month, @gerenewableenergy got one step closer to completing the world’s largest wind turbine when the first Haliade-X 12 MW blade departed the @lmwindpower factory in Cherbourg, France. The massive 107m blade is headed for ORE Catapult in Blyth, UK, where it will undergo meticulous testing procedures to ensure the blade can withstand the extreme conditions it may face once installed offshore. #HaliadeX#greenenergy#renewableenergy#windenergy#engineering
